- What is Club S.K.A.T.E.? Why should I join Club S.K.A.T.E. if my child is only in Basic 1?
Club S.K.A.T.E. is an organization run primarily by skating parents to provide a social network and source of information that Supports Kids Adults (Synchronized) Teams Everyone. Within Club S.K.A.T.E., there are members whose children have been skating competitively for years, as well as adult skaters who compete. In addition, there are members whose children have recently begun competing, parents whose children have been in Learn to Skate classes for a year or so, and parents whose children are brand new to skating. The ages and abilities of the skating members of Club S.K.A.T.E. are quite varied and diverse.
By joining Club S.K.A.T.E., you have access to informational packets assembled by the members for the new members, as well as the ability to ask members questions based on their (or their skaters’) experiences. In addition, Club S.K.A.T.E. holds seminars and activities with priority given to members (members are also charged a reduced enrollment fee for these seminars and activities). - If I have lost the badges from recent levels, where can I get new ones and how much are they?
You can purchase replacement badges for $5.00 each through the Skating Director.
