Painting the Ice

Each spring, one of the rinks at U.S. Ice is melted out for maintenance and repairs. Come September, the staff works to put the ice back in, starting by freezing the sand, adding layers of ice, painting the lines and putting more layers of ice on top of that! Photos Compliments of Suburban Journals
